Brady Strain, M.S., OTR/L

Brady is a pediatric occupational therapist and mom of two active toddlers. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama in 2015 and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (OT) from the University of South Alabama in 2017. She began her OT career at The Emerge Center and The Emerge School for Autism in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she was a member of the Transdisciplinary Autism Program and provided OT services in the school system. A career move for her husband brought Brady to Mobile, Alabama where she provided OT services for infants and children at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital in the outpatient clinic and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. When Brady moved back to her hometown of Birmingham in 2022, she was thrilled to join the team at The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs where she provided OT services for infants and children ages 0-3 years of age.

Brady’s passion for occupational therapy led her to start a concierge OT practice; hence S.T.E.P.S was born. Brady is passionate about working with the pediatric population and their families using an approach that fosters the development of the whole child by addressing physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and sensory needs. This approach allows her to build relationships with the children, as well as their families, and assist them in finding joy in everyday activities!

Brady has advanced training in sensory integration, infant positioning and handling, infant and pediatric feeding, Learning Without Tears, and she is a certified Tummy Time! Method professional.

In her free time, Brady enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, toddlers and their dog, Mav!
